Three Approaches to Plein Air

Bill Gallen (PAPNM, Master), Damien Gonzales (PAPNM, Signature Member) and Lee MacLeod (PAPNM, Signature Member) will introduce their personal process and practices to plein air painting.
The class will begin on Friday morning with a lecture demonstration by Bill Gallen at the historic Bettina Steinke Studio in downtown Santa Fe (one block off Canyon Road on Acequia Madre Street).
Bill Gallen, Damien Gonzales and Lee MacLeod will share their methods and practices in approaching Plein Air Painting. The Bettina Steinke studio will be our location for demonstration and lecture. We’ll paint on locations at nearby sites around Santa Fe in the afternoons. An Art Night on Sunday, August 4th, will be a chance for collegial connection and sharing work. A final critique on Monday afternoon will round out the experience.
50% deposit will hold your slot. A materials list and pertinent class information will be sent at that time.
Final payment will be due July 1, 2024. Cancellation must be made before July 1, for a 90% refund.
